Job Overview:
- The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dispensary.
- This position requires someone who can guide teams and develop their talent.
- The right candidate has supervision experience as well as ensuring customer satisfaction and measuring financial performance.
- Assistant Store Managers will ensure employees maintain strict adherence to laws and regulations related to the sale of regulated medical marijuana.
- This position reports to the Store Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in retail management and related Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred but not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure excellent customer service, including resolving customer difficulties.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
- Coach and develop staff.
- Control waste, expenses, and payroll.
- Observe appropriate merchandise stock levels, presentation, and signage.
- Receives products and maintains appropriate records.
- Able to learn new computer systems and explain them to others.
- Open and close store.
- Responsible for daily safe counts, drawer counts, and drop counts.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Work Environment:
- This job operates in a retail business environment.

Physical Demands:
- This is an active position requiring regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing all day.
- The position requires talking and hearing as well as visual acuity.
- Employees must frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Good motor coordination is required for the weighing and packaging of products.
Expected Hours of Work:
- Days and hours of work may vary by scheduling or seasonal needs.
- Evening and weekend work is required.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be 21 or older.
- Must be occupationally licensed in the State of Oklahoma to work in the MMJ industry.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Estimated Salary: $20 per hour based on qualifications.
