Safety & Security Officer for Marijuana Dispensary in Sun Valley Nevada

Responsibilities and Duties:

Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property (primarily exterior); monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.

Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; deterring trespassers.

Patrol of parking areas, some property maintenance.

Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; collecting reports when necessary.

Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls. Maintains the visual appearance of exterior and vehicles if necessary.

Maintains the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; reporting for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and directed by Department or General Managers.

Responsible for the safety and security of customers, guest team members.

Delivery of products to customers. Verification of manifests and monetary responsibility after the probationary period.

Works with Law Enforcement officials when necessary.

Monitors the CCTV system of the entire property.

Able to learn new procedures to ensure compliance with enforced regulations.

Job Qualifications:

YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE PER NEVADA REGULATIONS.

Clean driving record and background

Security Experience – preferred.

Military or Law Enforcement experience a plus.

Professional demeanor and skillset.

Clean driving record.

Attention to detail.

CPR/First Aid, AED certification.

State Licensing mandatory – employer will cover the cost.

Pay: From $20.00 per Hour
