Job Position Title:

• Trimming Specialist at Cannabis Cultivation Company in Cincinnati Ohio

Job Description:

• Responsible for manicuring the flowers of a cannabis plant and may work with both wet and dried products to get them ready for sale.
• Hanging the flowers on racks to dry.
• Cleaning and maintaining the trimming area.
• Ensuring that their trimmed product stays together and remains trackable through the drying process.
• Cutting the dried flowers off the branches.
• Support operations by handling the finished product from the time of drying and through packaging.
• Operates with direct supervision from the Post-Harvest Manager.
• Follows established policies and procedures and contributes to the development of new concepts, policies, and procedures as necessary to perform job duties and tasks.
• May be cross-trained to care for products in other stages such as bucking, packaging, labeling, and order fulfillment.

Work Experience and Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
• Ability to make decisions as necessary with oversight when needed.
• Proficiency in Windows-based and other software and internet navigation.
• Fun attitude, strong work ethic, strong attention to detail, and must have a team player mentality and able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts and store location movement.
• High school diploma or GED. A certification or associate or bachelor’s degree in a plant-specific, farming, or other science-related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts, including weekends.
• Employee must qualify and pass all local and state-mandated requirements.
• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• All applicants must pass an FBI fingerprint search and a BCI federal background search.

Physical Demands and Requirements:

• Must have good dexterity in their hands.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 25 pounds.
• Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel for extended periods and repetitively throughout a workday.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours.

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

• Exposure to pollen, allergens, non-carcinogenic pesticides, dust, odors, extreme temperatures, artificial light, sun exposure, loud machines, vibrations, and water.

Pay: $16 to $20 per hour based on qualifications.

Pay: From $20.00 per Hour
