Job Position Title:
- Account Manager at Cannabis-focused Venture Studio in Sacramento California
Job Description:
- Represent and grow ONL brands across the Northern California territory, making regular store, retail, and dispensary visits to ensure our brands are consistently represented and the value propositions are clear.
- Manage critical partnerships and relationships with brand representatives and continue to build and cultivate new exciting relationships with key accounts and dispensaries.
- Display expert knowledge and understanding of our products, nuanced customer base, different brands, and their stories, and charismatically articulate and sell the unique narrative of each to increase sales and partner loyalty.
- Build and maintain relationships with budtenders in a given territory.
- Consistently build brand presence via in-store activations, brand ambassadors, budtender education, and strategic marketing activations via field marketing events, branding collateral, and providing samples to dispensaries.
- Manage our Brand Ambassador Team, including guiding key sales points, narratives, demos, in-store displays, ideal shelf displays, and other specified areas.
- Manage inventory and drive sell-through of brand products (Union Electric, Pine Park, AMASS Labs)
- Manage strategic, proactive, and consistent engagement and follow up with dispensaries and distributors to drive account sales.
- Provide weekly updates and reporting on the status of your accounts.
- Maintain regular contact and communication with the Sales Director.
Work Experience and Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- 1-2 Years experience in cannabis retail, retail sales, customer service, or hospitality preferred.
- Go-getters who are hungry and driven to drive revenues and grow as a sales professional
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing conditions.
- Punctual, and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with CRM systems preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. You are comfortable with, and enjoy, presenting and speaking with large groups of people.
- Deep knowledge of cannabis – the science, the industry, the people, and the culture. (If you’re new to the industry, we are willing to train and educate the right candidates).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation – this role requires travel to different dispensaries in your territory (we reimburse for mileage and wear and tear).
Pay: $60,000 to $75,000 per year based on qualifications.
