Job Position Title:

• Budtender at Recreational Cannabis Dispensary in Durango Colorado

Job Description:

• Budtenders are responsible for helping customers, checking them in/out, cash handling, and customer service.
• Seeking full-time motivated professionals who are passionate about working in the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment.
• Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained.
• Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures.
• Responsible for retail product knowledge.
• Answering the phone and greeting walk-in customers.
• Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system.
• Correct cash handling and discount application.
• Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles.
• Verifying proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for customers.
• Other duties as assigned by the Management Team.

SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:

• Exceptional Customer Service skills.
• Desire to learn about our products.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale software, and cash management is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality.
• Fun attitude and strong work ethic.
• Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts and store location movement.
• Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-year customer service experience preferred.
• 1-year Cash handling experience preferred.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent minimum.
• Previous food service or retail experience preferred.

Work Experience and Qualifications:

• 21 years of age.
• State of Colorado Employee Badge*.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Cannabis knowledge is preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends until 11:00 p.m.

Pay: $20 per hour based on qualifications.
