Overview:

As the manufacturer’s sales representative you will be responsible for selling regulated THC and THC/CBD cannabis products to brick and mortar stores and delivery dispensary buyers.

You must be willing to study and learn efficiently to become a true EXPERT in all of our products and product offerings.

At our company, you must learn and be able to teach the science behind the products so that you are an expert without equal.

Responsibilities:

Outside sales to dispensary managers/buyers.

Development and execution of a professional, measurable, track-able Account Manager Business Plan to meet your sales goals and to grow brand/company awareness with retailer buyers, budtenders, and end-users.

Share the value proposition of our products through regular social media content creation and distribution through various channels.

Identify and communicate new opportunities for sales, partnerships, and custom manufacturing; and develop measurable strategic plans to pursue those targets or hand them off as appropriate.

Schedule sales calls, appointments, and site visits.  This may be included in in-person meetings as well as online sales presentations.

Make the sale happen with honesty and integrity.

Prepare and submit written customer orders for products and submit them for delivery and collection to the appropriate distributor.

Provide best in class customer service to customers by being available to help with questions, logistics, and delivery followup.

Develop retail sales techniques and elevator pitches for each of our products and train buyers and front line dispensary staff on all of our products.

Teach them selling techniques and the customer value proposition of each of our products.

Make sure everyone is successful through knowledge and knowledge transfer.

Create an opportunity through a high number of high-quality contact touches.

Track all scheduled and actual meetings and calls.

Establish and maintain professional and ethical working relationships with all clients and company staff.

Develop and manage sales incentives for front line dispensary staff.

Learn and keep abreast of industry laws and regulations that affect all aspects of cannabis regulation in California.

Job Skills, Abilities, & Qualifications:

Current or previous cannabis industry experience is preferred but not required.

A 4-year college degree is preferred but not required.

1+ years of independent sales experience preferred, 2+ if an unrelated industry.

The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter that is outgoing and likes to make calls and contacts with decision-makers and gatekeepers.

Previous experience with client management

Excellent English verbal and writing skills.

Proficient spreadsheet and basic math skills.

Able to accepted training and personal development critique.

Proficient with social media marketing.

Have a successful track record of selling in a competitive market.

Able to respond quickly and accurately to customer requests through independent thought and analysis.

Per California Law, must be at least 21.

Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for Sacramento area site visits as necessary.

Job Physical Requirements:

Able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.

Able to periodically bend, reach, and squat.

Able to physically lift at least 50 pounds.
