Job Position Title:
- Part-time and On-Call Budtender at Cannabis Shop in Easthampton Massachusetts
Job Description:
- Promote a work environment that is positive, customer service-oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures.
- Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
- Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
- Maintain product knowledge.
- Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system in person and for placing phone orders.
- Verifying proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for customers.
- Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked.
Work Experience and Qualifications:
- Affinity for handling multiple demands simultaneously and proficiency in time management.
- Ability to learn and use seed-to-sale POS software in compliance with program regulations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and positivity, a general can-do spirit. Self Starter.
- Exemplary customer service skills as observed by supervisors and as validated by guest and patient feedback.
- Reliable. MUST work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Ability to visually examine products and signage, labeling accuracy.
- Enjoy a start-up environment that requires the ability to adapt to change and improvise to overcome unexpected challenges.
- Exhibit a “can-do” attitude and a willingness to take on new responsibilities and tasks as they become necessary.
- Ability to assure compliance by demonstrating attention to detail and the aptitude to process and internalize a large volume of information, most specifically around state regulations.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Cash-handling and cash register skills.
- At least six months of experience in a POS system. Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields is required.
- You work best in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 21 years of age.
- No drug-related felony; ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Driver’s License (required).
Pay: $16 per hour based on qualifications.
Pay: From $16.00 per Hour
