JOB TITLE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performing all required duties in the Cultivation Department, including the following areas of production: inventory management, plant breeding, cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, cropping, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays, and harvesting.
  • Maintaining daily activity records and operation logs.
  • Following all company SOPs and policies and procedures.
  • Following all IPM directives.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitized environment in your work area.
  • Must maintain communication with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Execute on mother plant and veg plant maintenance.
  • Inform the supervisor if the growing environment is out of specification.
  • Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.
  • Adhere to all Compliance and Security procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
  • A degree in Biology, Horticulture, or Applied Science is desirable, but not necessary.
  • Excellent computer, mathematics, and reasoning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a low tolerance for unmet expectations.
  • Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done to a high standard.
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Cannabis are required.
  • Knowledge of container systems with soil and hydro, as well as an understanding of temperature and humidity manipulation.
  • Knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as organic plant treatment options.
  • Ability to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of a large-scale grow facility.
  • Experience in cannabis cultivation is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs. regularly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
