JOB TITLE:

• Defoliation Specialist

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform plant defoliation at various stages of the plant’s life.
• Perform complete up-skirts of plants at various stages of the plant’s life cycle.
• Perform garden tasks to assist the cultivation team as assigned (ie room loads, cleaning, trimming, prep transplants, etc).
• responsible for communicating issues to the management team to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the company.
• responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all staging areas at all times.
• Maintain concentration while completing repetitive tasks.
• Meet company standards within the task assigned.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.
• Previous defoliation experience preferred.
• Must have a good attitude, able to take direction, and shows attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work within a team environment, as well as alone and unsupervised.
• Complete discretion and confidentiality are required for this position.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must pass any and all required background checks.
• Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
• May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 75 pounds (200 pounds with assistance).
