JOB TITLE:
- Finishing Technician
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following OSHA regulations, organization standards, and legal regulations.
- Assemble cannabis products and follow Department approved Standard Operating Procedures.
- Manicure and package cannabis flowers and products according to health and safety standards.
- Store and transport medicine/products in designated areas.
- Ensure proper care of product through curing, trimming, packaging, etc. as needed.
- Frequently maintain cleanliness and sanitization in production zones, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
- Maintain set quality control on medicine.
- Inspect product/medicine for contaminants.
- Ensure proper care of product including trimming and manicuring.
- Perform other related work as required.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous cannabis trimming experience is preferred.
- Knowledgeable on strains, genetics, and cannabis flower varietal expression and typical traits.
- Ability to prioritize safety practices and follow standard operating procedures.
- Ability to take direction and complete daily tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain products accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to adhere to the highest customer service with staff and the public at all times.
- Ability to perceive and meet the needs of team members and management.
- Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
- Needs to have a high level of organization, patience, and flexibility.
- Must be 21 years old and pass a criminal background check.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Work may require prolonged sitting/standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate tools, a computer, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
- Requires normal range of hearing. Requires close vision with the ability to see color and adjust focus.
- Requires lifting up to 20 pounds regularly and push/pull up to 40 pounds also use assistance (multiple people, forklift, dolly, etc.) when lifting/moving over 100 pounds.
