JOB TITLE:

  • Systems Administrator

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the installation, setup, configuration, and upgrading of all software and hardware.
  • Design and deploy systems that scale for manufacturing and retail locations.
  • Manage large storage arrays containing mission-critical data.
  • Manage backups and perform regular disaster recovery testing.
  • Automate system administration tasks.
  • Administer and support SaaS applications.
  • Work closely with department members to design, build, test, and deploy our systems.
  • Communicate with all internal users on technology needs and issues.
  • Come up with creative solutions for challenging problems.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
  • 5+ years experience in System Administration.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules, and regulations and a passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.
  • Solid knowledge in IT leading practices, methodologies processes, and control framework.
  • Possesses a high level of critical thinking.
  • Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must be approved by a state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry.
