JOB TITLE:
- Systems Administrator
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the installation, setup, configuration, and upgrading of all software and hardware.
- Design and deploy systems that scale for manufacturing and retail locations.
- Manage large storage arrays containing mission-critical data.
- Manage backups and perform regular disaster recovery testing.
- Automate system administration tasks.
- Administer and support SaaS applications.
- Work closely with department members to design, build, test, and deploy our systems.
- Communicate with all internal users on technology needs and issues.
- Come up with creative solutions for challenging problems.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
- 5+ years experience in System Administration.
- Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules, and regulations and a passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.
- Solid knowledge in IT leading practices, methodologies processes, and control framework.
- Possesses a high level of critical thinking.
- Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment.
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must be approved by a state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry.
