JOB TITLE:

  • Transport Security Officer

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the direct transportation of currency/products between the production facility and the dispensary.
  • Assisting in Training new transportation security employees.
  • Transportation Security Officers directly report to Transportation Security Supervisor.
  • Conducting weekly transportation of company products, currency, and waste materials.
  • Ensuring transport paperwork is accurate per state regulations and vireo procedures before each departure and upon return to the manufacturing facility.
  • Conducting weekly security log reviews.
  • Ensuring vehicles are maintained and cleaned daily.
  • Responding to emergency calls as needed.
  • In-state travel may be required on a daily basis as part of work duties in company-provided vehicles. All travel will be completed during work hours and duties.
  • Uploading needed documents to QT9 based on state regulations.
  • Emergency response to incidents as needed.
  • Ensuring the transportation team follows both company procedures and state regulations.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent written/oral communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to maintain poise and self-control under stress.
  • Capable of performing all normal emergency security duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
