• Budtender for Cannabis Dispensary in Cathedral City California

Job Description:

• We seek outgoing and passionate Budtenders who are eager to build long-standing, friendly relationships with our customers and patients.
• Our Budtenders will assist the management team with the activities and operations of the store while abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Our Budtenders are responsible for answering customer’s questions, upselling each transaction, checking them out, cash handling, and customer service.
• You must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences for their particular needs/experience.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ability to show up for work on time.
• Ability to follow store policy.
• Intimate knowledge and understanding of all applicable federal, state and city municipal cannabis regulations and law and ordinances and how it applies to the everyday work environment.
• Responsible for exceptional sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment.
• Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service-oriented experience within established policies and procedures that keep us compliant.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and follow policy and procedures.
• Accurately use and maintain GreenBits (POS) system to ring up sales accurately.
• Use POS to check in new deliveries and stock inventory room proficiently and timely.
• Accurate order filling for deliveries – Weed Maps, Leafly, and curbside pick-up.
• Correct cash handling and discount application.
• Maintain product knowledge with ALL current products and future products.
• Maintain professional, friendly interactions with all staff members while being a team player.
• Ability to get to work on time and work 40 hrs as assigned including holidays, weekends, and evenings as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Experience and Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid CA driver’s license.
• Experience as a budtender for more than 6 months.
• Good personal appearance and good hygiene.

Pay: $20 per hour based on qualifications plus tips.

Pay: From $20.00 per Hour
