JOB & CAREER SUMMARY:

• Knowledge and implementation policies and procedures of METRC and BCC policies and how they are inter-connected.
• Ability to manage all areas of operations effectively, efficiently, and harmoniously independently and under general direction from BOD and owners.
• Have a vision on how to conquer the effects of COVID-19 on the cannabis market in CA.
• Able to execute strategic plans covering market share, costs and benefits, social media campaigns, new products.
• Ensure the dispensary’s compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations, in accordance with the Federal 280E regulations.
• Manage a delivery service.
• Knowledge of CA HR policies and procedures.
• Manage and inspire sales staff to deliver the highest level of customer service with current knowledge of all cannabis products.
• Plan and Execute in-person and virtual vendor day.
• Build bridges to vendors in a way that supports our operations.
• Ensure continuous sanitization of the entire dispensary.
• Enforce CA state and city mandates.
• Responsible for providing OJT and sales development for every product and sales up-selling.
• Work with the owners and account managers to create pertinent budgets and forecast sales based on principles of retail business and experience – knowledge of POS and QB required.
• Set monthly sales, service, and profit goals and lead staff to exceed them.
• Work closely with Inventory (staff, management, and vendors) to procure an adequate supply of quality products compliant to any state and city regulations.
• Be able to identify the high-quality low cost to top-shelf flower, concentrates, vapes, CBD, for possible sale – widening our product selection.
• Fulfill staffing needs and coordinate scheduling according to budget(s).
• Provide OJT for staff on a regular basis to ensure the dispensary’s excellence in service and labor practices within the community.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents relating to dispensary performance, general business periodicals, professional journals, safety, security, and technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Develop operational plans and implement and manage dispensary policies and procedures.
• Document financial, Inventory, and customer trends; maintain sales and purchasing reports.
• Manage and maintain and grow dispensary sales utilizing and inventory management software and Quickbooks.
• Pass a background FBI and DOJ scan.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related cannabis experience.
• Five years of experience in a management environment.
• Excellent customer communication and service skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and posting requirements of cannabis.
• Know the Coachella Valley Cannabis Environment.
• Passionate about serving the cannabis community.
• Strong accounting, math, and computer skills.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check.
• Must be willing to work weekends and cover shifts to have daily adequate staffing levels.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 to $80,000 per year based on qualifications.
