JOB POSITION TITLE:

• Delivery Driver at Cannabis Company in Los Angeles California

JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Able to travel up to 90% of the time obeying all applicable driving laws while completing deliveries in order directed.
• Schedules vehicle maintenance as required (i.e., oil changes, tune-ups, tires and brakes, etc.).
• Maintain vehicle clean and organized.
• Perform & fill out vehicle safety inspection sheet.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
• Assist, when necessary, the pulling of equipment & supplies from the warehouse as ordered on the sales order.
• Responsible for checking all orders for inventory accuracy making sure to have all necessary paperwork.
• Responsible for checking the COAs, & batch IDs match the product to be delivered.
• Ability to deliver orders with speed and accuracy to different addresses and through different routes efficiently.
• Communicates status with facility dispatcher at all times. Updates any major delays, completion of deliveries, and arrival at shop upon completion of route.
• Verify customer identity, sign manifest and/or any other required paperwork, and collect payments for orders.
• Transfer returned or rejected product back to the facility.
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints.
• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in customer service.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s license and Clean Driving Record.
• Ability to pass all required reference and background checks required by the company and mandated by the State of California and Los Angeles County for cannabis industry employees.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures & transportation laws.
• Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
• Ability to work independently and in a group.
• Ability to follow standard operating policy & safety procedures.
• Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust, integrity, & respect.
• Strong work ethic: ability to adapt to adjusting workload and priority levels.
• Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and REQUIREMENTS:

• Regularly sit for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, such as driving.
• Pull, push, talk, hear, carry up to 50 pounds, and grasp.
• Frequently walk & reach.
• Occasionally climb, stoop or crouch, or crawl.
• Clearly see 20+ feet, have peripheral vision and depth perception, and be able to see up close with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness). Must have the ability to adjust focus.
• You will be working outside and may be exposed to weather, high levels of noise, and vehicle fumes during the job.
• You must have a working phone with you at all times and may be required to use a personal cell. All Phones and electronics must be hands-free and used in accordance with the laws of the road.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including nights, overtime, weekends & holidays.

Estimated Salary: $20 per hour based on qualifications.
