• Production Supervisor for Cannabis Cultivation Company in Santa Cruz California

Job Description:

Production Supervisor is a critical position for POW INC., which acts as the bridge of communication between Managers and the trimming/packaging department.

The supervisor will act as our eyes and ears for the entire processing of our cannabis.

The supervisor will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

1. Receiving projects for the day, and communicating to production staff.

2. Organizing the production team to achieve goals of the day/week

3. Ensuring all data is being recorded accurately
a. Labor Hours
b. Inventory Counts

4. Signing off on completed projects to ensure accuracy

5. Completing end-of-week trim and packaging reports
a. Adding up all jars packaged
b. Adding up all trimming weights
c. Meeting with the team to go over the report

6. Reporting any info/ problems with the processing department to managers

7. Tracking environmental conditions and reporting issues

8. Suggest Improvements for department, operations, and/or staff.

9. Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel for data tracking.

Experience Preferred:

– General Knowledge of Cannabis Quality

– Cannabis Trimming (2 years)

– METRC data inputting

– Inventory Tracking

– Microsoft Word and Excel (Google doc and sheets)

– Production staff management and Training

– California Cannabis Regulations and Compliance in the context of packaging and trimming

– Ability and willingness to learn new computer skills (basic Adobe Illustrator, printing software)

Pay: $20 per hour based on qualifications.

Pay: From $20.00 per Hour
