Job Position Title:
- Armed Security and Customer Service Liaison at Cannabis Company in Phoenix Arizona.
Job Description:
- On-site security will work in tandem with our team overseeing operations to ensure a safe environment for staff, vendors, and visitors.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure daily inspections of facility, cameras, alarms, including perimeter, are being conducted.
- Maintenance of the daily security blotter, visitor log, and other logs.
- Monitor alarms, primary contact on-call list for the alarms, and responds to the facility as needed.
- Maintain security and safety of staff and facility.
- Conduct thorough searches of individuals and their personal property.
- Maintain the integrity of the security system, including codes and functionality.
- Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors, contractors, and inspectors.
- Assist with packaging and deliveries.
- Verify all manifests.
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to perform duties tactfully.
- Check-in employees, vendors, and visitors.
- Ensure the facility is compliant by following all company issued SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Assist in making arrangements for facility tours.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age.
- “Must” possess one (1) year of prior armed security-related experience, prior law enforcement experience, or prior military experience with an honorable discharge.
- Steady employment history.
- Pass a comprehensive background check that includes criminal history and Motor Vehicle Record check.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Communicates well with employees (We operate as a Team).
- Record information accurately.
- Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude.
Job Skills Required:
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
- Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.

Job Qualifications:
- Performs his/her duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industry.
- Carries out all procedures in an efficient manner that also complies with OSHA regulations, Company SOP, and all applicable procedures.
- Ensures compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
- Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated if prior military.
- Must have access to reliable transportation.
Job Physical Requirements
- Environment: Indoor and an outdoor, temperature range from moderate to extreme cold and heat.
- Major activity: Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing.
- Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling, Can lift at least 50 pounds.
