JOB POSITION TITLE:

• Human Resources Generalist at Cannabis Production and Cultivation Company in Uxbridge Massachusetts

JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Contribute to the development of a robust culture through role modeling Glorious Cannabis Company’s values and the behaviors that drive this culture.
• Acts as a business partner to the Operations leadership team for two sites (Medway and Uxbridge).
• Ensure alignment and adherence with compliance and regulatory agency requirements (e.g. EEOC, Human Rights, OFCCP, and OSHA).
• Contributes to the development of, recommends, and administers HR policies and procedures; maintains and updates handbook on policies and procedures; adhering to local state and federal compliance mandates.
• Liaise with the Talent Acquisition Team on all staffing and facilitate all Massachusetts onboarding processes for two locations (Medway and Uxbridge).
• Working knowledge and understanding of the various employee benefit programs including health insurance, workers’ compensation, and 401k.
• Maintains required local, state, federal, and departmental records, postings, and reports including I-9, EEO, FMLA, and OSHA record-keeping requirements.
• Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings.
• Develops and conducts various training modules.
• Assists with recruitment efforts for exempt, nonexempt, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program, employee relations counseling, employee engagement and retention programs, and exit interviews.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required and a minimum of 3 years of human resources experience.
• Considerable knowledge of HR principles practices and procedures related to employee relations, compensation, and legal compliance.
• Well-organized and self-directed individual; team player.
• Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all employees.
• Adept at handling sensitive employee relations matters.

Estimated Salary: $20 per hour based on qualifications.
