Job Description:
- Develop in-market relationships with both the community and dispensary partners and consult with the Marketing Team to bring opportunities to the table where the GDF brand could participate.
- Organize on brand exciting local engagement activities and events to build brand awareness and education- including vendor days and in-store pop-ups.
- Coordinate and deliver brand assets for all launches and facilitate involvement of the Sales and Brand Team as needed to execute and deliver in-market brand assets and brand collateral, etc.
- Be the embodiment of the Brand in developing deep relationships with the Chamber of Commerce and local businesses for potential co-marketing opportunities.
- Build community and be a reliable and trusted resource for dispensaries.
- Create budtender events to assist in product knowledge and training.
- Leverage relationships within the cannabis industry to promote the brand as well as attend all cannabis events.
Work Experience and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of customer service, sales, marketing, or retail experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in the medical cannabis industry with a passion for Cannabis and an understanding of the current competitive landscape.
- Must be outgoing, attentive, and comfortable engaging in conversation with customers and clients a large percentage of the time.
- Experience handling multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and the capacity to handle bold timelines.
- Successful in navigating change, solving problems, and consulting with cross-functional business partners.
- Manage and execute brand activations and initiatives.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Must have reliable transportation for onsite visits around the state, a monthly vehicle stipend will be provided.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to work in this industry.
Physical Demands and Requirements:
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, communicating with a high volume of people.
- Must be able to lift, bend, and walk to set up for events.
- Overnight travel by car and air is required.
Pay: $45,000 to $50,000 per year based on qualifications plus vehicle allowance.
