• Lead Cannabis Extraction Specialist at Cannabis Consulting Company in Fernley Nevada

Job Description:

• Responsible for performing extraction processes.
• Manage raw materials and coordinate material and resource allocation including intake.
• Assists Compliance Manager in METRC production upkeep and batch recording for all raw materials and end products on METRC.
• Familiarity with basic scientific principles and laboratory experience.
• Must follow all applicable SOPs and employee handbook.
• Ensure product meets all requirements for compliance, stability, safety, and weekly target volume.
• Ensure the lab is properly cleaned after each shift.
• Clean and maintain laboratory, glassware, and all equipment utilized in the processing of cannabis or cannabis-infused products.
• Maintain strict inventory records of all raw materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Remove trash and green waste from the Extraction Area or lab.

Work Experience and Qualifications:

• Prior experience in setting up and designing production lab and set, operating, and maintaining extraction, refinement, and other production equipment.
• Expert in the extraction of cannabis biomass and producing cannabis extracts based on the target volume set by the company.
• 1++ years minimum experience in extraction.
• Active Cannabis Production Employee Agent Card (not expired or near expiry).
• Ability to lead and identify and effectively prioritize actions and requirements.
• Ability to conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner.
• Willingness to relocate to Fernley, NV(40 minutes from Reno).
• Preferred candidate: Food safety card and OSHA, if not must be willing to go through training at own expense.
• Must know METRC for cannabis production.

Pay: $40.00 per hour based on qualifications.
