• Processing Lead for Cannabis Grower in Salinas California

Job Description:

• The purpose of this position is to oversee the performance and well-being of the processing department.
• Working alongside the Processing Manager, to ensure daily productivity goals are achieved or surpassed.
• This position is responsible for training any new employees as well as daily quality checks and check-ins with each individual employee.
• This person aids in the tracking and recording of employee working hours for productivity purposes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Works along with the processing team and manager to ensure all the processing department’s daily goals are achieved and or even surpassed.
• This individual must arrive 15 minutes prior to the rest of the processing team in order to ensure all is prepared for the beginning of the shift like gloves, trimming shears, etc.
• Daily turn in output weight sheets for productivity tracking.
• Have an accurate and current list of employees working under the processing department.
• Accurately take samples of processed varieties for testing.
• Performs regular inspections to ensure all working materials are in stock and readily available.
• Responsible for overall quality control (QC) checks on the outputs of the trimmed flower being processed.
• Notify the processing manager of any product discrepancies or deficiencies.
• Prepare employee rotation lists.
• Assist all safety-related meetings and maintain a safety-conscious working environment.
• Leads daily exercise warm-ups.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Basic math and writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift between 15-20 lbs.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.

Pay: $20 per hour based on qualifications.

Pay: From $20.00 per Hour
