• Processing Supplier for Cannabis Grower in Salinas California

Job Description:

• This position is responsible for maintaining the flow of product in the processing department.
• By bringing bucked (previously separated from the stalk) flower bins from storage and preparing trays filled with this product for trimmers, as well as removing the processed trays containing the usable by-product (trim/smalls), waste, sharpening of trimming shears when needed.
• In addition, with the help of the Manager and or department lead, suppliers coordinate the order in which batches get processed to ensure the most productive outcome.

RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS:

• Helps coordinate product flow in the processing department.
• Moves product bins from storage to processing room.
• Ensures trimming crew always have flower trays to work on.
• Daily records batch processed, and total bins processed.
• Provide bins processed information to the department lead and manager at the end of each shift.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies (isopropyl alcohol, gloves, paper towels etc.)
• Sort saleable by-products by category trim and small.
• Maintain inventory of trimming shears stocked and in good condition, as well as report any damaged shears that need to be replaced.
• Maintain empty totes organized in a safe way, while monitoring empty tote inventory.
• Occasionally lead warm-ups.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to perform duties and responsibilities that normally require special physical effort, including bending, stretching, and lifting objects up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Ability to be able to bend, scoop, or stretch.

Pay: $20 per hour based on qualifications.
