JOB POSITION TITLE:

• Cultivation Technician at Medical Cannabis Research Company in Duncannon Pennsylvania

JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for assisting with all aspects of PAOFW’s cultivation operations from seeding to harvest.
• Adhere to daily maintenance and monitoring of all plants; immediately report concerns to a supervisor to ensure overall health of the crop.
• Filling, watering, and trimming of plants.
• Verify labels are placed properly with coordinating plant.
• Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to state compliance, security and safety protocols, and standard operating procedures as well as internal trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a horticulture environment preferred but not required.
• Self-motivation including an ability to learn and improve.
• Demonstrated verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as an individual contributor.
• Ability to work all shifts, as needed, and maintain punctuality as well as attendance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and REQUIREMENTS:

• This is a labor-intensive position, working in a production environment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and hear.
• The employee is required to walk, stand for extended periods of time, and crouch or stoop.
• The employee will be required to use hands and fingers to operate, handle, and/or feel objects, tools, and/or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee will be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• The employee must be physically capable of performing manual labor tasks required for the proper management of grow facility, including meeting activity performance counts, lifting/carrying product totes, pushing carts, moving and making adjustments to equipment, etc.
• Will be required to wear varying degrees of personal protective equipment for specific tasks (some tasks require partial PPE; some will require full PPE).
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Estimated Salary: $20 per hour based on qualifications.
