Extraction Technician at Laboratory Services Company in Albuquerque New Mexico

Job Description:

Quantum Labs is seeking a skilled and dedicated Extraction Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hydrocarbon extraction, vape filling and infusions, rotor evaporator operation, and refinement and crystallization techniques. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hydrocarbon extraction processes to produce high-quality cannabis extracts.
• Operate and maintain vape filling and infusion equipment.
• Utilize rotor evaporators to refine cannabis extracts.
• Conduct refinement and crystallization techniques to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and laboratory standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all extraction processes and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to extraction processes and equipment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in extraction technology.
• Lead and mentor team members to ensure optimal performance and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Experience in hydrocarbon extraction, vape filling and infusions, rotor evaporator operation, and/or refinement and crystallization techniques is preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates who can work independently on day one, as determined by experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a laboratory setting.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
