JOB & CAREER SUMMARY:

Functions:

• Ability to manage all areas of operations effectively, efficiently, and harmoniously.
• Ensure the dispensary’s compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations, in accordance with the Federal 280E regulations.
• Manage and inspire internal staff to deliver the highest level of customer service with complete knowledge of all cannabis products.
• Plan and Execute stellar Patient Appreciation Day to increase sales to the highest level.
• Ensure the safety and satisfaction of every customer and employee.
• Responsible for providing a high level of education and development for staff pertaining to medical cannabis per California current code strains, edibles, concentrates, and consumption mechanisms.
• Work with the managing partner and account manager to create pertinent budgets and forecast sales based on principles of retail business and experience.
• Set sales, service, and profit goals and lead staff to exceed them.
• Work closely with Inventory (staff, management, and vendors) to procure an adequate supply of quality products and comply with any state-regulated system without waste.
• Fulfill staffing needs and coordinate scheduling according to budget(s).
• Communicate with and coach staff on a regular basis to ensure the dispensary’s excellence in service and labor practices within the community.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents relating to dispensary performance, general business periodicals, professional journals, safety, security and technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Develop operational plans and implement and manage dispensary policies and procedures.
• Document financial, Inventory, and customer trends; maintain sales and purchasing reports.
• Manage and maintain and grow dispensary sales utilizing and inventory management software and Quickbooks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related experience in any for-profit business, nonprofit business a plus or applicable work-related experience.
• Five years of experience in a management environment.
• Excellent customer communication and service skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Passionate about serving the Cannabis Community.
• Strong accounting, math, and computer skills.
• Must attain required state licensure or applicable state-issued IDs.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check.
• Must be willing to work weekends and cover shifts to have daily adequate staffing levels.
• Prior experience as a Dispensary Operations Manager.

Estimated Salary: $20 per hour based on qualifications.
