DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage new prospects through cold outbound outreach and generate productive meetings for our Account Executives
- Responsible for growing our client base and revenue through direct sales of services to licensed cannabis businesses.
- Maintain knowledge of regional competitors and local legislative restrictions.
- Conduct research on new markets and identify new opportunities.
- Develop a really strong understanding of the solutions we provide and how they can help businesses.
- Use prospecting strategies to identify prospects and initiate the first outreach with potential customers.
- Act as the liaison between Marketing and Sales teams.
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.
- Devise and implement a strategy for identifying and contacting senior stakeholders within marketing, strategy, and innovation at target prospects within the CPG sector.
- Executes other duties as assigned with excellence.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role in the Cannabis Industry.
- Deep understanding of retail cannabis operations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with G-suite and MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong business analysis and planning skills.
