DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage new prospects through cold outbound outreach and generate productive meetings for our Account Executives
  • Responsible for growing our client base and revenue through direct sales of services to licensed cannabis businesses.
  • Maintain knowledge of regional competitors and local legislative restrictions.
  • Conduct research on new markets and identify new opportunities.
  • Develop a really strong understanding of the solutions we provide and how they can help businesses.
  • Use prospecting strategies to identify prospects and initiate the first outreach with potential customers.
  • Act as the liaison between Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.
  • Devise and implement a strategy for identifying and contacting senior stakeholders within marketing, strategy, and innovation at target prospects within the CPG sector.
  • Executes other duties as assigned with excellence.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role in the Cannabis Industry.
  • Deep understanding of retail cannabis operations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with G-suite and MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong business analysis and planning skills.
