JOB TITLE:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create scalable recipes for all new dishes.
- Ensure that the kitchen is always clean and meets all local health code requirements.
- Developing creative customized baked goods that meet company expectations.
- Design, test, and develop infused recipes that meet all requirements at the federal, state, and local level.
- Manufacture and scale production to meet market demand.
- Ensure all processes are compliant with regulatory guidelines.
- Train kitchen staff on product creation, sanitation, and all required processes that need to be delegated.
- Store food products in compliance with safety practices.
- Keep weekly and monthly cost reports.
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area.
- Must always monitor inventory and report items that need to be reordered.
- Responsible for receiving incoming food orders and rotating stock.
- Schedule kitchen staff shifts if needed.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (Food Science strongly preferred).
- Certification from a culinary school or degree in Restaurant Management is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience creating candies, chocolates, cookies, brownies, etc.
- 3+ years of management experience within a commercial kitchen or food production environment.
- Experience infusing foods and other products with cannabis oil infusion are required.
- Experience with the emulsification of food products.
- A strong understanding of food science, chemistry, and product design.
- Hands-on experience with product planning and ordering ingredients.
- Knowledge of a wide range of recipes.
- Excellent skills in basic mathematics.
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation.
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
