JOB TITLE:

  • Cannabis Courier

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver and pick up product orders, payments, and returns to and from dispensaries and other grow facilities.
  • Responsible for picking up packages from multiple vendors and delivering them within the state.
  • Must work within MED compliance standards.
  • Receive messages or materials to be delivered, and information on recipients, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, and delivery instructions, communicated via telephone or in person.
  • All cash payments will be counted, and verified, and the responsibility of the courier receiving payment to be delivered in full to the Finance Department.
  • Obtain signatures and payments or arrange for recipients to make payments.
  • Review shipment paperwork after receiving to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.
  • Helping our fulfillment team when deliveries are not available.
  • Load vehicles with packaged goods, ensure goods are loaded correctly, and take precautions not to damage packaging or products.
  • Deliver products based on a set route and delivery schedule.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Cannabis industry and METRC experience.
  • Cash-handling experience.
  • Understand traffic patterns.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with problems and resolve them in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 21 years or older.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Have a clean driving record. At least 5 years of NO driving incidents. 
  • Ability to pass a background check and driving record check.
