JOB TITLE:

  • Cure Specialist

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for drying/curing of product, grading the quality of product, data entry, and data recording.
  • Collect samples for QA as needed for quality testing.
  • Trim dry and cure cannabis flower to ensure high quality and visually aesthetic products.
  • Keep track of any R&D experiments and communicate with R&D.
  • Performing monthly audits to ensure all inventory and sheets are accurate.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.
  • Regularly clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
  • Maintain an unobstructed and safe workspace at all times for you and your team members.
  • Ensure that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ years of work experience in a related industry or work environment.
  • Previous experience working in a production facility (manufacturing, food, CPG, etc..)
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedures.
  • Ability to measure, weigh and mix in a precise and efficient manner.
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrates oral and communication capability.
  • Knowledge and background in trimming preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to successfully register with the state’s cannabis commission as an agent.
  • Must be able to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate, and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. 
  • The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 50 lb. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus.
