JOB TITLE:

  • Facility Cleaner

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow a detailed cleaning checklist for Daily, Weekly, and Monthly cleaning items.
  • Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
  • Regularly check the trash receptacles, emptying them as needed, in all areas of the facility.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, and communicate ordering needs to management.
  • Make sure that all GMP and SOP paperwork is filled out neatly and correctly at all times.
  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
  • Notify management of reoccurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
  • Assist with moving office equipment as required.
  • Identify safety hazards and report to the site manager.
  • Support other departments with special tasks and projects.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven working experience as a cleaner.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense, and resourcefulness.
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses a high level of critical thinking.
  • Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information.
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must be approved by a state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. 
  • The employee frequently is required to stand for extended periods; walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.

  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
