JOB TITLE:
- Fleet Supervisor
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and control courier supplies and equipment.
- Schedule regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Work closely with management to find ways to reduce unsuccessful deliveries due to repairs or lack of routine maintenance.
- Develop strategies for greater fuel efficiencies.
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
- Serve as a liaison between the off-site courier success management team and on-site couriers.
- Ensure all aspects of policy and procedure are being followed every day by couriers.
- Report incidents of policy violation.
- Collaborate with depot staff to ensure courier operations are running smoothly.
- Ensure compliance with State regulations.
- Utilize GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 1-2 years experience working with fleet management, and fleet analytics overseeing company-owned vehicles.
- Experience in logistics/cannabis delivery operations is extremely preferred.
- Experience in the transportation industry.
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Analytically driven mindset.
- Labor Law knowledge.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- High School Diploma or GED.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunities to move about.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
