JOB TITLE:

  • Fleet Supervisor

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and control courier supplies and equipment.
  • Schedule regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with management to find ways to reduce unsuccessful deliveries due to repairs or lack of routine maintenance.
  • Develop strategies for greater fuel efficiencies.
  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
  • Serve as a liaison between the off-site courier success management team and on-site couriers.
  • Ensure all aspects of policy and procedure are being followed every day by couriers.
  • Report incidents of policy violation.
  • Collaborate with depot staff to ensure courier operations are running smoothly.
  • Ensure compliance with State regulations.
  • Utilize GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 1-2 years experience working with fleet management, and fleet analytics overseeing company-owned vehicles.
  • Experience in logistics/cannabis delivery operations is extremely preferred.
  • Experience in the transportation industry.
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Analytically driven mindset.
  • Labor Law knowledge.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunities to move about. 
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
