JOB TITLE:

  • Manufacturing Final Production Technician

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the production of an uninterrupted supply of safe, pure, and properly formulated finished medicinal products.
  • Assist with recording and entering data in multiple forms, and associated tasks as delegated by Management.
  • Professionally represent the Final Packaging department in all daily activities.
  • Responsible for the consistent, sanitary, and safe production of final products adhering to company policies to successfully uphold quality control and consistent Final Packaging production.
  • Weigh and dispense actives of finished product raw materials and excipients.
  • Operate downstream machinery including Final Packaging equipment associated with, but not limited to heating, diluting, mixing, cooking, dispensing, encapsulation, compression, packaging, labeling, and storing.
  • Sample preparations and logging for analytical testing.
  • Participate in commissioning new process equipment.
  • Perform manual Final Packaging activities as required.
  • Perform manual, semi-automatic, and automatic equipment cleaning and sanitization, including controlled drying and storage procedures.
  • Maintain Final Packaging and facility spaces in a clean and hygienic state.
  • Performs daily safety inspections of filling and final packaging equipment.
  • Maintain room and equipment cleaning and inspection logbooks. 
  • May help in other departments as needed/Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of job responsibilities.
  • Communicate constructively and effectively.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to work quickly but efficiently, while maintaining the integrity of the product.
  • Light to moderate lifting of up to 50 lbs; heavier weights with assistance.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Repetitive motions and understanding of lab equipment.
  • Must wear provided warm-up jacket, hair/beard nets, gloves, surgical masks, safety glasses/ goggles/ splash shield, as process demands.
