JOB TITLE:
- Metrc Specialist
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for, and focused on, processes, procedures, and systems to ensure accurate and timely product recording and tracking within the mandatory METRC system.
- Work closely with a seed-to-sale tracking software and manage, trace, and record data for all cannabis products.
- Ensure developing plants, in-process products and finished products have a METRC-generated RFID tag.
- Logging production and batch runs done during a variety of extraction processes.
- Performing intake of received cannabis products into the inventory management of METRC.
- Performing inventory audits and reconciliations as necessary.
- Coordinating with the accounting team to help generate invoices and schedule shipping of products.
- Implement systems to ensure that products conform to regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshooting inventory issues that may come up in the course of operating the platform.
- Ordering METRC UID Tags and ensuring your entity does not run short of available tags.
- Assigning new METRC tags to product packages.
- Researching and learning the METRC platform to become more efficient and knowledgeable with the ultimate goal of being able to train others.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control Coordinator and other members of the team to improve overall efficiency and standard operating procedures.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Leadership Team.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- At least 1 year of METRC Inventory-related experience.
- Experience analyzing financial reports.
- Strong operational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- METRC certification.
- Needs to be proficient in word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, Google Docs, etc.)
- Great attention to detail.
- Strong Communication and time management skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times.
- Be able to stand for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
