JOB TITLE:
- Senior App Developer
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work independently and collaboratively in a small team to evaluate new technologies and their potential use to solve current and emerging business challenges in a mobile application.
- Resolve issues found during penetration/security testing.
- Design, develop and implement enterprise-scale solutions to support the organization’s business strategy and goals.
- Work closely with business product owners to fully understand requirements, supply feedback, and request clarification as needed.
- Work with other engineers in a collaborative team to deliver code on an ongoing basis.
- Review requirements and data models and translate them into responsible applications and architecture.
- Track and resolve software defects.
- Support test execution including system level and integration tests.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field, or who has equivalent work experience.
- Seven (7+) years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience in integrating an eCommerce platform.
- Excellent English communication skills (written, oral, listening).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to optimize code and troubleshoot errors.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies, planning, and implementing system rollout.
- Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear via electronic devices (ie. computer, monitor, microphone, video, etc.)
- The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include reading and viewing information on a computer monitor.
