JOB TITLE:
- Track and Trace Coordinator
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing traceability and keeping all cannabis material in compliance.
- Main point of contact for all aspects of Metrc implementation, including systems integration and reporting.
- Lead a team of specialists, covering the entire process from nursery, cultivation, manufacturing, to distribution.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Product, and Operations teams to design and innovate processes to ensure data integrity and Metrc compliance.
- Unify multiple track and trace departments into a single team.
- Monitor compliance systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Constantly review all movements of inventory within and across facilities, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate with leadership to analyze issues and develop policies to prevent future discrepancies.
- Maintain internal electronic records of all Track & Trace activity.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or inherent to the position.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of team leadership preferably in a Track & Trace setting.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience using Metrc, preferably in cultivation, manufacturing, and/or distribution setting.
- Experience in compliance and/or quality control & traceability.
- Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management/ERP systems.
- Fluency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, especially Sheets/Excel; knowledge of pivot tables and basic formulas required.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; adaptable and open-minded when troubleshooting or implementing new systems or procedures.
- Ability to function within a cross-platform software environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be 21 years of age (or older).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to work in conditions typically found in an office setting and in greenhouses with high humidity and varying temperatures.
- Ability to balance, reach grasp while climbing on a step stool and/ or ladder.
- Ability to crouch, grasp and lift product above shoulders in order to lift product from the floor properly.
- Ability to exert up to 15-50 pounds occasionally in order to lift and move product.
- Ability to be on feet while performing job responsibilities.
