JOB TITLE:

  • Trim Manager

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members to ensure daily work, productivity, and quality goals are met.
  • Train Trimmers to organize and process the harvested plants actively daily.
  • Follow all policies, protocols, and SOPs set forth by leadership and in accordance with state laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for all plant movement through the Trim room, logging, and reporting METRC. plant tag and harvest batch movement accordingly, and sustaining accuracy with all weigh-in and data entries.
  • Ensure all product is accounted for according to company policy and procedures.
  • Setting up the room prior to the trim with special attention to cleanliness.
  • Responsible for the efficient processing and packaging of marijuana flowers.
  • Perform tasks related to harvest, trimming, sanitation, decontamination, etc.
  • Harvest (including drying and de-stemming) plant material on schedule.
  • Diagnose plant health, deficiencies, pests, and other issues.
  • Adapt processes to various strains, styles, and types of cannabis, and make quality control decisions and adjustments as necessary.
  • Responsible for scouting all equipment, and ensuring all tools are free of pests, viruses, or disease.
  • Focus on maintaining continuous improvement initiatives/activities within the operation.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of work experience in a related industry or work environment, cannabis experience preferred.
  • Ability to consistently meet productivity and performance requirements with high attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of cannabis handling and trimming.
  • Knowledge and understanding of local and state regulations, with an emphasis on continual learning and sharing knowledge with the team.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational capabilities, as well as strong computer skills to accurately input and manage a centralized cannabis tracking system.
  • Excellent communication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to individually move objects up to 50 lbs in all directions.
