Job Description:

  • Iluminar Lighting is recruiting a National Sales Manager to oversee our continent-wide sales team and sales US distribution channel. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding our all US Sales team, developing strategic sales plans for Retail B&M, electrical wholesale, commercial clients, and establishing or identifying new company sales streams. This will not be limited as the Manager is expected to eventually grow sales domestically and internationally. The Sales Manager will be responsible to develop relationships with key stakeholders, commercial buyers, and partners both internal and external within the industry to promote ILUMINAR’s objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build senior-level relationships with grow-related organizations.
  • Develop strong, mutually-beneficial relationships with partners.
  • Work closely with the Management and Marketing teams to build product pitches for new product launches, especially for key accounts.
  • Hire/train additional sales team members to expand overall reach.
  • Manage the weekly sales process with key contacts to ensure that there are the necessary volumes to support ILUMINAR’s growth objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to further promote ILUMINAR products.
  • Support portfolio and pricing management by providing feedback on goals and recommendations to optimize assortment mix and price.
  • Design objectives and implement best-in-class sales strategies (including sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes) in alignment with overall corporate planning cycles and objectives.
  • Manage, support, develop internal sales resources to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Prepare monthly reports for key internal stakeholders identifying sales trends, opportunities, challenges, competitive analysis.
  • Manage multiple projects ensuring efficient timely delivery of project milestones
  • Ensure that communications between our partners and internal stakeholders are coordinated in order to support sales objectives.
  • Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis.
  • Reviewing sales results to ensure established targets are being achieved and take corrective action where required, including revising strategies, dealing with specific performance problems, and other actions required in order to achieve projected targets.
  • Plan and conduct sales presentations.
  • Manage multiple projects ensuring efficient timely delivery of project milestones.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to set a vision, lead change, and lead/mentor others.
  • Strong management skills including performance management, planning, prioritization, objective setting, and plan execution. Ability to organize, structure, and staff an organization in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Forward-thinker with the ability to identify, synthesize, and act upon strategic information and changes within the environment while managing multiple projects efficiently.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Self-starter motivated to drive continuous improvement and innovation through dedication and hard work.
  • Successful experience with new market development and penetration
  • Proven track record of creating a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
  • Competency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and basic ERP functions.

EDUCATION:

  • 5+ years of sales management.
  • Experience in sales management within the growing industry is preferred.

Pay: $20 per hour based on qualifications plus commissions and yearly bonuses based on performance.
