- Android E-Commerce Engineer
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, build and maintain e-commerce applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Support our existing Android applications and bring them up to date with current technology and updated designs.
- Continuously suggest new ideas and improvements.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Minimum 3 years of Android development experience.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with third-party libraries and API.
- Ability to function well as an independent contributor, given requirements and design specifications.
- Strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment and a passion for creating great experiences.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to see problems outside of an engineer’s mindset.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear via electronic devices (ie. computer, monitor, microphone, video, etc.)
