DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop wide-ranging marketing strategies that advance and support company goals.
  • Responsible for all development of far-reaching campaigns and promotions.
  • Determine and track KPIs for the marketing department.
  • Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications, etc.).
  • Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR, and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press, etc.).
  • Represents the company at industry meetings; establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Effectively manages social media marketing activities through building a digital presence and bringing the organization’s brand to life.
  • Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure that marketing campaigns and content are in line with the overall business strategy and meet the needs of all key stakeholders.
  • Develop innovative and non-traditional ways to support brand objectives.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree in business or marketing
  • Demonstrated track record of building a marketing organization and holding responsibility for all marketing channels.
  • Understanding of the total marketing mix including digital, social, direct, and the measurement and ROI for campaign execution.
  • Passion for and knowledge about Cannabis.
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods.
  • Self-starter who is able to independently own and deliver on a diverse range of projects.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of creativity and attention to detail.
  • Multi-tasking and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
