JOB TITLE:
- Consumer Insights Analyst
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret data from a variety of resources to uncover insights on how we may best serve our consumers.
- Discover future and current consumption trends.
- Support and lead brand health tracking metrics.
- Partner with the Product and R&D teams to help create disruptive, consumer-driven, culturally-relevant brands and products that accelerate growth in wellness/cannabis categories as well as envision the future of cannabis consumption.
- Lead traditional market research programs, such as brand tracking, category tracking, consumer usage, attitude studies, ad testing, and message recall.
- Support project scoping to ensure a clear and actionable brief and identify the best insights solution based on the business priorities and objectives.
- Manage the procurement process for all Insights projects.
- Work collaboratively across functional groups, helping to create a consumer-centric mentality across the entire organization.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of market research or consumer insights experience, with experience in hands-on data analysis.
- Proven track record of actionable insights work, including compelling and motivating storytelling and action planning.
- Ability to translate insights from consumer behavior into actionable business recommendations.
- Ability to translate business questions into the appropriate analytics methodology.
- Knowledge of and experience with consumer database analysis.
- Experience and exposure to working in highly agile and ambiguous environments and developing new functions is an asset.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
