JOB TITLE:

  • Digital Merchandiser

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Upload and maintain digital assets, including product descriptions and product images.
  • Perform Daily Audits to ensure all products have correct and consistent data attributes.
  • Identify and correct catalog errors and investigate catalog complaints.
  • Liaise with Merchandising team regarding updates to product information and upcoming product calls/launches.
  • Assist with new product onboarding which includes digital asset management and working closely with the cross-functional teams to create content descriptions for each product.
  • Assist with new collection creation to align with content calendar and propose new collection ideas based on best practices.
  • Work with vendors to get correct product information when needed.
  • Work with the marketing team to get new photography and copy created when needed.
  • Recommend new product attributes to improve the Product Listing Page (PLP) and Product Detail Page (PDP).
  • Support the Digital Merchandising Manager and Digital Experience team with ongoing projects as needed.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, public relations, or other relevant discipline is required.
  • 2 years of digital merchandising or E-commerce experience are required.
  • Cannabis merchandising experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage and inform.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics) and data reporting & visualization software (PowerBi) would be seen as an asset.
  • Experience working with the Shopify platform would be needed as an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work productively and cross-functionally.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must pass stringent background test requirements.
