JOB TITLE:

• Director of Data Platforms

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Grow and lead the company’s Data Engineering organization and platform.
• Will be key in defining the data strategy, enabling all teams easy access to valuable data.
• Partner with key stakeholders to ensure we build a platform that is capable of everything from ad-hoc analysis all the way to training complex machine learning models.
• Help the company build out a culture of using data to enrich our products.
• Own a strategy to ensure data quality at every step.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years working in Data Engineering leading teams. You should have defined a data strategy and roadmap for an organization.
• Experience building a team.
• Experience with the latest machine learning and data analysis technologies.
• Experience ensuring a data warehouse meets compliance regulations.
• Experience with AWS data platform and machine learning offerings.
• Experience within an eCommerce data org.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Remote work.
• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear via electronic devices (ie. computer, monitor, microphone, video, etc.) 
• The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse. 
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include reading and viewing information on a computer monitor.
