JOB TITLE:

  • Inventory Manager

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform daily, monthly, and yearly inventory audits and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate product orders based on projected needs.
  • Maintain a diverse product selection.
  • Develop and implement a product merchandising strategy.
  • Maintain an organized vault/inventory storage space.
  • Create effective organization for proper tracking of all non-regular inventory, including special patient orders, employee patient samples and weekly deals.
  • Maintain constant stocks based on a daily review of weekly/daily sales and availability.
  • Review and accept wholesale orders via the state-approved system.
  • Communicate with dispensaries on order fulfillment and expected delivery date.
  • Prepare invoices for wholesale orders.
  • Lead all scheduled inventory activities as required by State regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Manages the inventory team to improve accuracy, training, and execution of operational initiatives.
  • Complete responsibility for all inbound and internal facility inventory transactions.
  • Communicate with manufacturing, purchasing teams, and other departments as needed to research discrepancies.
  • Ensure inventory levels for packaging materials including METRC tags are adequately stocked.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.
  • A high school degree or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • METRC experience is highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of inventory and sales reports.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Efficacy with technology and point-of-sale systems.
  • Above-average math skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Outstanding work ethic.
  • Ability to follow existing inventory/inspection procedures accurately.
  • Skilled in Google and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to cannabis operations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regularly required to speak and listen.
  • Frequently required to stand or sit for long periods, walk constantly, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • May be required to work outdoors and/or during inclement weather.
