JOB TITLE:
- Logistics Specialist
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for coordinating and executing inbound and outbound goods with multiple external vendors across our entire supply chain.
- Plan and schedule domestic and international shipments.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound goods, track product movement and inventory from distribution centers to our retail locations.
- Ensure the accuracy of shipments and maintain supporting documentation.
- Lead and resolve day-to-day escalated production, and transportation issues to support timely inbound and outbound execution and work to establish and/or redefine proper cadence for execution.
- Make data-driven decisions and develop sustainable solutions.
- Creates procedures for logistics management to optimize product workflow and minimize cost.
- Communication with other business units to align on order requirements, material planning, and final delivery requirements.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce.
- Initiate safety procedures when issues are identified.
- Participates in the accurate and timely replenishment of inventory and associated record keeping as required for METRC Track and Trace compliance.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- DOT, and CFR knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and guidelines.
- Associate’s Degree or certificate from college or technical school desired, Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field preferred.
- Exceptional computer skills in Microsoft® Office Suite.
- Demonstrated negotiation and influence skills.

- Excellent analytical thinking skills.
- Strong leadership and delegation skills.
- Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules, and regulations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequently sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, grasp, walk, reach, taste, smell, climb, stoop/crouch, crawl, carry up to 25 pounds, talk, and/or hear.
- Occasionally carry up to 50 pounds.
- Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses, and differentiate between colors (no color blindness).
