DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates all manufacturing activities to ensure goals are accomplished and communication occurs within the group and across all functions/shifts and interacts with these groups.
- Responsible for the control of all material flows, manufacturing operations, and the supervision of the manufacturing team.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues associated with manufacturing operations.
- Leads continuous improvement recommendations and/or solutions to support overall operational efficiency.
- Work closely with senior management to initiate new production projects and assist in developing processes/techniques to meet company objectives.
- Effectively communicates results of departmental work through team discussion and documentation and other duties as assigned.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
- Instills quality control measures to produce high-quality products.
- Maintain the safety of the organization and ensure the cleanliness and efficiency of production areas.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated supervisory experience required.
- Passion for the cannabis industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to share knowledge with others.
- Broad knowledge of regulatory requirements and manufacturing.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Detail-oriented with an eye on process optimization.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin or a related field of study is preferred.
- Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent is required.
- At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Through extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day.
- Must be capable of working in front of a computer for extended periods of time-based on job duties.
- Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds if relevant to job duties.
