JOB TITLE:

  • Retail Marketing Associate

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Executing new store launches including event marketing activity, media, public relations, social media, merchandise, inventory, and signage with a focus on detail and logistics.
  • Coordinating with vendors and retail staff.
  • Post opening, ongoing coordination with retail managers and marketing coordinators to ensure that new stores have all relevant assets.
  • Assessing retail store needs with regular store visits.
  • Monitoring & conducting competitive audits.
  • Measure and report the performance of all launch activities.
  • Coordination of the marketing calendar with the Retail Marketing Manager, and working closely with the retail and marketing teams on program implementation.
  • Helping the Retail Marketing Manager to assess ROI and KPIs and provide suggestions to continually optimize.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans with objectives, strategies, and tactics to support market growth objectives driven by analytical insights.
  • Participate in commercial planning, working with cross-functional partners to define retail activation and promotional strategies.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Passion for and knowledgeable about Cannabis.
  • Retail experience in the cannabis market.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong customer focus and relationship orientation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of retail marketing.
  • Ability to quickly and effectively pivot priorities as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or 1-2 years of marketing experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
